The quotation below is taken from an extract of the Southern Watchman 1861-1865. If someone would give me the full meaning of the letters P.A.C., it would be greatly appreciated.

"......recruited by him to recruit, swear and muster recruits into the service of the P.A.C. states
for Gen. Morgan’s Division...."
