Jim, this not a reply to Kevin. The Constitution promised us a REPUBLIC, not a democracy. Thus, certain things are off limits, i.e. guns, which were mentioned by a poster as among the things a majority could do away with. Not so. The Bill of Rights is SUPPOSED to protect us from a majority run wild. Apparently, it doesn't always work. Stan
