I am trying my best to educate these people on this flag I want to fly over these soldier's grave. I'm sickened when I see the American flag in their final resting place. WHY? Because they were fighting against that flag. Right or not, it seems insulting that they should be forced to rest under this flag, and not their own. Okay, yes...if these men would've lived, they would be under the US flag. But they did not live, and the flag they fought under should be represented for them. The Confederate flag should NEVER be forgotten. It is part of our history. It's as if America wants to brush it under the carpet. Infuriates me at times.
