Edgar Rice Burroughs' "John Carter of Mars" is a go. The sci-fi story of a Confederate Soldier that is transported to Mars and ends up fighting in a Martian Civil War. It's being made by Disney/Pixar. E. R. Burroughs father had been a Union officer during the Civil War and had the honor of meeting Col. Mosby (CSA), who was dressed and acting as a Union officer, just before Burroughs' Union supply wagon train was attacked by Moseby's men.
