Good to hear from you! We have that mail-order movie service and get some fun stuff, but I find it sits around too long. My kids and I just watched "Red Badge of Courage" the other night, as part of our ongoing Audie Murphy film festival. (I've got about 50% of his 40+ films on VHS.). My son's wife is a 20-something who has never been exposed to the great old movies and TV shows we saw as kids. And she absolutely loves them!
That's a very touching scene in RBoC where Murphy (in blue) ascends the hill just behind the CSA flag bearer who collapses at the crest. And then he lays the rebel flag over him out of respect. You would never see that these days!
IMHO, it seems like the young people of today are starving for substance, and are being denied.
