Thats the problem with whats being taught, there are no names, dates and places in the books- the anchor to any history. These books are not in chronological order; they are lacking in maps, period images, historic leaders like presidents, generals, explorers, etc. Most of the image material is modern that is somehow is tied into the "history" referenced. No novice or even knowledgable history buff could learn from this type of school book.
