I recall quite awhile back someone posted v an article that told how Sen. Jesse Jackson wanted Gettysburg and the NPS to show to a greater degree how the war was about slavery and Civil rights. I recall he stated it would take an acct of congress to change the way history was presented, so he started an act to do just that. Can someone please direct me to this article?
