In Response To: Belgian Musket ()

OK this is a tangent on the issue of Belgian muskets, but it is interesting. Back in 1991, I visited the Imperial War Museum in London. In an exhibit on WWI in East Africa they had a Belgian musket that had been sold to the U.S. during the Civil War, sold afterwards as surplus, was sent to Africa and ended up seeing service with Von Lettow-Vorbeck. Sure got around.
