If that's an essay question on a test, I probably wouldn't do well. He did succeed in his goal of reshaping America into a modern industrial power based on a strong central government, limited immigration, free labor but not free markets.

The title prompts prospective readers into believing that this book is mostly praise and adulation. It's not that at all.
