That point can be argued all day long. Fact is the Confederates fired the first shot on responding to what they thought Lincoln intentions were. Now what I said is they did nothing illegal, except fire the firts shot. I wasn't intending for that statement to say they didn't have the right or the act was illegal. Regardless of what side you want to be right that is a clear act of war same as Anderson's actions.

What would I do put in the same situation---- fire the first shot. Didn't Kennedy do the same thing to the Russians in Cuba???
