Joe, I would like to think that Frank's daughter has an "enlightened"
northern school teacher who, when confronted with the question as
to whether his class should celebrate Robert E. Lee's birthday, decided
to use the question as a teaching opportunity designed to better educate
his northern school children on an important aspect of Southern history.

Of course, the teacher could have other motives, but in the interests of
pure education, I admire his choice of assignment. Perhaps Frank will
enlighten us as to the real purpose behind this most interesting
assignment.
