Some of the best postings I have seen. You folks did an outstanding job.
I just, in very recent times, spent two hours talking about the Civil War with a much younger
person who was raised in Ohio. All he knew was that which had been in a textbook and I told
him that. The real kicker on the deal was that his ancestors did not arrive here until 1901.
Wish I could have had all of you to help me in my discussion with the man.
A good question is why cannot the books used in the schoolhouse be open and honest about
the "War of the Rebellion" as well as a lot of other things.
