I have found that those young ones who will take a bit of time and listen do try to see another picture than the one that's been kept 'alive' in text and victory speeches. They have the ability to cut to the chase and understand it was more complex than one issue even if they can't grasp the entire scope of it. That's a good thing. They may be more open if later they pick up a book and read it with a more understanding eye.
