Pam and George;

If being a Gentleman and an Honorable man are not things which all men North, South, East, or West, can not celebrate, no matter what our differences are, whether they are our enemies or not, we are in deep trouble as a country. And lets not forget Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson, either.

When a Northerner ask why they should celebrate Robert E. Lee and "Stonewall" Jackson, Jefferson Davis, or any number of others?, a southerner could very well ask the same question. Why should they celebrate Abraham Lincoln? or Martin Luther King?

Respect is not freely, nor easily given, it is earned. Some people earn respect by obtaining High Office. Others earned their respect by first obtaining high Charactor and thereby having high office thrusted upon then.
