Glad that the web site created an interest. My ancestors were with the AL 28th Inf Regt and Isaac McAdory enlisted and was a Lt in Co H, as I recall. He lost 2 brothers. After the war he returned to Birmingham and started a school. There is a McAdory High School in Birmingham. McAdory's were well known in Jefferson County, AL.and I have available info on them.
Didn't remember your roots being in MS.
