With many of us having grown up with the tales and some photo's of WWII and watching the evening news during dinner with the Nam pictures it still is haunting. The photo's from the CW are one link other than the written word we have to a past that we have in our genes and it may have been unsuccessful, may have been the wrong thing to do, may have been just stupid, but it was what happened. One can only imagine how the ladies must have felt seeing these images because the ones in the North were't as 'exposed' to the reality as the ones in the fighting line.
