In my previous post, I failed to indicate that on later cards, there was verification of POW status for that particular soldier. The card indicated the date and location of the capture, which was indicated as being one day earlier than the company muster indicated. I have also discovered in most instances the CSR cards are arranged in event order; but in several other files the cards appear in no particular order.
i.e. being discharged from a medical facility several cards prior to finding the admission to the medical facility.
