I have spent at least four days on this relative's Confederate service. It appears that he was a member of the Immortal 600 based upon the cards in his file that were produced while he was a POW.
The transcription of his file covers about five typewritten pages. If anyone would like to receive a copy as an attachment, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send it to you as an attachment.
There are several cards that would help establish locations of the 12th Ga. Infantry Regiment during the war. I feel it it just to long to post on a web site.
