Insult- The act of leaping on. Any gross abuse offered to another, either by words or actions; act or speech of insolence or contempt. To treat with gross abuse, insolence or contempt, by words or actions. To behave with insolent triumph.

Insulted- Abused or treated with insolence.

Insolence- Pride or haughtiness manifested in contemptuous and overbearing treatment of others; petulant contempt; impudence. To treat with haughty contempt.
