It's a good thing he passed before he declared all slaves were freed (except behind Union lines) and the churches (still standing) have to offer up prayers to bless Lincoln. If things kept going that way, we would not have a Bill of Rights or even a republic anymore. Looks like the War ended just in the nick of time.
