Lets try Libby prison where the prisoners froze half to death, the was never much food. The conditions were appalling. Or maybe the overcrowded lice ridden Danville prison where again, the prisoners were starving to death...Most accounts that I have read of Union Prisons, besides Douglas. were half decent and the prisoners ate well. The south Should have never started a war they couldn't afford to fight....
