Congress comes up for election every TWO years. If we pay attention istead of following all the shallow news the "press" feed us, we can keep replacing them until they get the idea they better hew to a line closer to what we want. When they run, they should be urged to say what they will do, and what they believe, and them replace them if they don't stick to it. Come November, we can make it happen. That is real term limits!
