Anyone have information on the 8th Alabama Cavalry? I have a ancestor (believe it or not) who was Benjamen Bonner who served with that regiment. My Mother's people with the last name Creel are from Laurel, Mississippi - not sure why he served with an Alabama Cav. Unless he lived in Alabama before going over to Jones County. Just thought some of you all may have info on this Regiment.
