I'm with ya Joe. Georgia still shuts down like that. Or at least some parts. Some of my best memories of reenacting is stuff with the kids. I did a thing a few months back with a bunch of 5th graders AND their parents at the school in the evening. A week or so afterward I got a big envelope in the mail with 39 hand drawn thank you cards. They are worth more than money. I'm constantly amazed by the intellect of some school kids. There are a few that actually DO learn. I think there is hope. We had a governor here in Virginia a few terms back that was all over his Confederate heritage. Then he decided to move into the national arena. I'm sure you've heard of George Allen. But I bet you don't hear much from him anymore. Bye bye George. Scalawag.
