I learned that our children pick up on our feelings too. My Daughter, born and raised in California was exposed to Confederate reenacting at age 5. Her best memories are camping with the soldiers on our three day weekends. The flag was everywhere, and she would go on to defend our culture in her high school, and she knows the truth. I disagree with some of the hardcore reenactors that don't allow the children to participate, they are our future to carry on the memory.
