That was the title of a particularly misleading and offensive Op-Ed piece that appeared in the San Antonio Express News this morning.

I plan to write a rebuttle and send it to the author.

I will also send the same rebuttle to the SA E-N Letters to the Editor.

The part of the Op Ed that I found historically inaccurate were the author's comments intended to justify his "fact" that slavery
was a product of the South with no mention of the North's role in initiating, continuing, spreading and making use of slavery.
