I've watched ALL of the Sharpe series. Sean Bean has been in so many productions in his career it's unbelievable.
I also noted, in this most recent adventure in India, the very young officer. I commented to my wife that this was one of the few productions I had seen that actually showed the youth that would have existed, even amongst the officers in these pre-twentieth century armies. I'm also reminded of the very young midshipmen on board the ships. Of course, we tend to believe that people in earlier times, might have been more mature or forced to accept adult responsibilities at an earlier age.
