Herb, this is not the first article by Thomas Sowell I have read. I always find him fair and balanced in his treatment of any subject he writes about. Recently, he published several articles on the cost of health care. I learned more from them than any of the political trash that is floating about the web. I consider him to be a genuine scholar whose treatment of subject across a wide number of topics is always insightful and full of ideas. I do wish he had spent a bit more time on your article discussing slavery in America. That would have been interesting.
