"Youth, great times. Especially then. I do believe that people growing up after the 60's are missing a lot in the modern world." Cump, I'm 72, and Herb's 80 odd. It gets worse every decade. I started school in 1944. We had recess, and played war and dodge ball! The 40s and 50s were shining times, excepting the little set to in Korea, where almost as many died as in Viet Nam. Talk about the forgotten warrior! I agree we sort of lost our innocence in the 60s. Have a good reunion. We're having one for my wife's family in Pigeon Forge in June. There are not enough of mine left for a good committee meeting. Stan

BTW, I saw a story on the Outdoor Channel today which warmed my heart. A WWII sniper who had fought in the Battle of th Bulge and lost a leg visited the Army Marksmanship Unit at Fort Benning. Val Forgett, whose name may be familiar to gun people, created a Springfield '03A4 sniper rifle like he had used. He lay down and walked it on target at 300 yards in three shots. Then, the AMU guys, including a Sgt. who had lost the same leg at the hip in Iraq six years ago, and was his spotter, let him use one of their tricked out Remington 700s at a 1000 yards. Wonder of wonders, he shot a FIVE INCH THREE SHOT GROUP on the head part of the target!! The AMU Sgt. looked at the target in awe. He said,"That's...impossible!" And Pfc. Ted Grundy is 84 years old! OLD GUYS RULE! Stan
