I cannot imagine how devastating it would be to not have something more than just MIA/Presumed Dead but it happens every time we have a conflict or even when the oil rig burned. There are families for those 11 missing in the Gulf of Mexico without that last piece of the picture. The thought of so many of the war dead, Civil War and others who were retrieved and buried in locations close to their home is so sad. I've read accounts of parents going in search of their sons grave to take them 'home'. In doing so, they are every bit as brave as the child they lost in battle.
Even finding that spot using Google may have helped them had they been able to access that information.
