Maybe someone on the board has read "Boots and Saddles" and will comment on Libby's portrayal.
I know I just cannot help but admire a woman who will spend some 50 or 60 years after her
'
husband's death in an effort to memorialize his memory in history while in the process outliving all
her husband's critics who out of respect for her, restrained themselves from publishing their living
memories many of which probably contradicted Libby's characterization of her husband. She was a
most unusually dedicated woman in my view.
