That's fine. Each man has to call it like he sees it. The point I'm making is geared towards some veterans I know who did not serve in country, and for some reason feel like their service was somehow less important than those who did. I'll say it again, if a man served during the period of the Vietnam war, then he is a veteran of that war. Just like men who served stateside in 1941-1945 are considered veterans of World War II. You don't have to be shot at to be considered a veteran. Most men who served *in* Vietnam never fired a shot in anger. That doesn't make them any less a veteran. That politician in Connecticut didn't have to *mis-speak* about his service to appear patriotic. He served during the Vietnam War and he should have been proud of that simple fact.

But I understand and respect your feelings on the matter.
