Can you remind me...did you have ancestors with Thomas' Legion (were they white or cherokee) and what was your people's east tn unionist regiment. I know we share that in common, have unionist and reb ancestors and white and cherokee in the war.

My white ancestors in the Legion were Dan and Bill Dockery and the Indians were names Bushyhead (yep)
My unionist relatives were in the 3rd TN Mounted Infantry USA and the 1st TN National Guard.
The Confederates were mostly infantry..11th Georgia Infantry Company F and 52nd Georgia Infantry and 6th Georgia Cavalry, formerly Smith's Legion.
