I'm sorry Jim. All I can say to justify it is one of my best friends, Bartley Thomas Stokes III is on The Wall and he had ancestors in the Confederate Army. This is also the one place I know of with people know the lingo, so to speak. He called me little sister, I called him big brother, but we weren't related.

I have just found the 'official' terminology for my friends death. He died in Quang Ngai Provence and the cause of death is "Ground Casualty". The "Detail" is "Other explosive device". Would that possibly mean a mine or other device? He died on the field from the way I read the report. Sniper fire?
