The other day, Monday I think, they were showing some of the censors meeting in Texas about the history text. Maybe on CSpan or Fox. I quit when they said they weren't allowing Davis address because he did NOT mention slavery as a cuase for leaving the Union. Our children are being taught a very warped lesson. We have to continue to tell them the truth. Even if it's not PC or all happy happy, the truth is the only way we can learn from our mistakes. The 'board' doing the text were just picking and choosing. None of the facts made sense just PC entries. I'm floored every day when I stand in a class and ask a few questions on American History. They do not know any of it. Unbelievable! Also, very disturbing.
