It would seem that movies and such are a two edged sword. While they do make history popular, the casual historian rarely knows what is "factual" and what is "artistic license". This applies to the written books and records also. In a place like Gettysburg there was and is still so much money to be made by the dramatization of this story, by even the first persons accounts, who can say what is correct? No person who has ever written a story is total unbiased in his opinions and his relating of "facts".
