According to the Virginia Regimental History Series, see citation, he is buried in a family plot in Princeton, N. J.

Suspect he was re-interred by family members from his original burial on the Jersey shore.

Enlisted on 11/11/1861 at Centreville, VA as a Private.

On 11/11/1861 he transferred into VA Louisa "Morris" Light Artillery
He was discharged on 1/7/1862 at Centreville, VA
(Transferred from a MS Co.)

On 4/15/1862 he mustered into "H" Co. LA Miles' Legion
He died of disease on 5/20/1865 at Fort Delaware, DE
(Estimated day of enrollment; Died of inflamation of
the lungs.)
