That's the one thing I have discovered in all of these searches. If you have some royalty, were Catholic or Scot, you can find a lot of infomation. The saddest part is those coming behind us have no real idea what those we can claim really did and what it meant to their people at the time. Not only is American History a lost art, so is World History. It just isn't taught now. I know what you mean on the 3rd cousin thing too. Their brain goes haywire if you get past first cousin. Doesn't compute. I told one of my grandchildren that Harold Gormson was a grandfather many generations back and they named the Bluetooth after him. They asked if he was a computer genius.
