If I were a producer or knew a producer there are a couple of books that would make really good movies. For the whole family. One, the title has escaped me due to CRS, and the other is Rifles for Watie. They give a good account for both views and of the regular, less written about people such as families, friends and such. I've been very surprised and very pleased that they are always checked out in our school library. I've seen many of the 4th and 5th graders reading Rifles for Watie. Maybe there's hope the future older generation may pass on the story to their children. That's about the only way any of it will get told. I grabbed Rifles one day when a kid was checking it back in and read it. Very well done. Very balanced. That's not too common. The balanced part.
