In regard to the snuff, my great aunt Clyde, yes that was her name, liked her snuff and any clean
Christian joke. She was also a real daughter since her dad was James Thomas Harper of the 5th Tenn.
He fought at Shiloh and at Atlanta receiving wounds at both of those places so we know he was there.
There were more sisters and her brothers of course were real sons.
My grandfather was one of the real sons.
Since it seems that most of the family only multiplies every 35-40 years or so, it happens that I know
lots more than most folks simply because I listened.
