I've been fascinated with the story of the different lines from the war and after. The common thread was poverty. I think that's one reason the Helton's round here turned to shine. That and they had a good recipe and didn't have to pay the tax on it. Distrust of the Fed is another trait. Guess some of that is still evident today.
You have a lot of knowledge of your own family Linda. That is what it's all about. I'm stunned today to see so many who do not know their own mother's maiden name.
