Stephen R. Mallory is buried here at our 'historic' St Michael's Cemetery. There is a ceremony every April where the UDC and SCV lay a wreath on his grave. It's a wreath meant to symbolize all vets of the Confederate States. His grave is also one of the very few places the Battle Flag is flown all the time. It's really the Navy Jack but many don't know they're pretty much the same. To my knowledge, that's one place there has been no complaint on the flag.
