Today I played a couple of net versions of Dixie for two of my grandkids, who had never heard of the song before. They decided to search for other versions to see which they like best. They listened to various versions for about 90 minutes. In the end I think Elvis's version gets the vote. I am proud of them for putting in such an effort!!!!
