Should those who feed their families and have staked their futures on this industry just sit by quietly, while it is destroyed for political and junk-science reasons. That's it!! There is the perfect example on consumption, demand for product and need for revenue are so tied into a business that can also be called 'wrong'. Until a credible, affordable alternitive is found, there is no reason to not allow our own citizens to earn a living. It is better than sending that money overseas. The real problem is the non addressed safety violations, 760 of them, by the Federal agency checking for them. The one thing that the Feds were supposed to do was not done. That's why we are here today with this living hell in our front yard. Greasy palms, as always, lead to disaster. These are the same Feds who are telling us we cannot clean our own yard?! They have to be joking. The photo-op shots of the clean up crews on the beaches are like those of the 'freed slaves'. Supposed to show things are looking up. What isn't being shown is the heavy equipment plowing clean sand over the tar. 18" Below the surface sand, there it is. Who is covering that up? Not the State. It is the Fed in tandem with BP. Just like those 'looking up" pictures of past times, these are going to be the ones in the history books. Another snow job and twisted version of the facts.
