I'm not advocating secession or withdrawal from the Union, yet. I am saying that as our country or it 's government, I should say, becomes less and less recognizable as a traditional American institution, I think alternatives to our current system might be suggested and then all of us might have to make unthinkable decisions. I still am praying for this country and its leaders, including Mr. Obama, but I fear these people are so foreign in their ideology to anything we've seen before, that without a dramatic shift in the Congress this Fall we could be heading for a cliff.

This has nothing to do with Mr. Obama's race or mixed-race ancestry. I would be just as concerned, if this were a middle-aged white guy espousing what I have to call socialist principles. If Mr. Obama were a conservative I would support him unequivocally. If he were in any way a moderate or a traditionalist and supported a capitalist system, I would still work against him politically, but I would not think of a change in our governmental system. I just think this guy and his policies are damaging our country, possibly beyond repair.
