Jim,
You are not alone. Those who would go down that slippery slope headfirst and hand in hand with the leaders do not want to allow the thought that any discontent is anything other than racially motiviated. It is a convenient word to toss out when anyone disagrees with any new 'mandate'. I don't care if the prez is a purple people eater, he is still an arrogant, socialist, anti-states rights person. For the first time in my life, I cannot even bring myself to show respect for the office. I was taught to do that even if I didn't like the person in it. That worked a few times but not now. I am understanding the discontent our ancestors felt and I do not want to see our government change. I want to see gone those who would change it. It is becoming clearer to me that even the low private in the Confederate Army may well have understood that something was wrong and it needed to be addressed. No, I'm not advocating war, riots or anything like that. I'm just trying very hard to get people I know, who should have but didn't, do some reading. Do some homework. Do some research. Read the words the Founders used and see for themselves this path is not the one we are supposed to be on. They try to take God out of our lives, they are trying to give any historical reference a fictional reference number and they are treading on our children's future. That is not right. That is not acceptable. Don't care who they are, if they don't play by the rules set forth in the beginning, they need to get the boot in November. People come and go, the 'rules' were meant to last forever.
