Ya know what Jamie? You are a good man. You're right. At this point in time, so many of us are just going day to day and don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, well, cept for that darn ol train. Those in 1776, 1863 and other years probably had more worries in a day than we do in a week but we forget how hard just living was for them. Every day is another bad news day. Very bad news days on the Gulf. A charter boat captain committed suicide a couple of weeks ago. He was going to lose his 3 boats. His livlihood. Another charter boat captain is tending booms in Little Sabine off Santa Rosa Island. A teenager with a ski boat could do that but he needs the paycheck.
Hotels and condo's are empty. Then, we get one little boost and it comes from some folks we do love so much. The Blue Angels are having their annual show at Pensacola Beach next weekend. Somehow they are getting the word out to get the people to come to the hotels and condo's for the show. It's a huge event here and our economy needs that boost. If'n ya ever get to come to P'Beach for the airshow, be prepared for around 200,000 folks. Yep. Crowded with people. The Blues said they are not going to let the locals down.
So see, even if your angel is Blue, it's still an angel.
