Re: What is left for the 4th of July

That all makes good sense. Our shortcoming has been supporting a system of corruption, particularly at higher levels of government. Like Stan F. said, a person cannot get elected to those positions anymore without owing favors, without being bought off and then to get re-elected, the deals continue. I think of campaign reform the way Stan F. thinks about term limits. They do not seem to be a solution because Americans will see it as a limitiation to free will. The Tea Party seems good now, but statist politicians are campaigning hard to take it over.

My strategy is to involve myself in community service, family and church. I bet just about everyone who reads this message board has their own strategy at a local level. If not, go out and volunteer for something.
