Yes by force of arms, did you ever think of that? See at best your flippant answer does not serve to prove your point. Did you ever consider the CSA and USA coming together as allies? History proves we have done this before with England, France, Greece, Italy and a host of other countries. After what the whites did to the Indians, they still fount with the American army, think about that. Your argument is just trying to make a point by grabbing at smoke, you have no historical fact to back you up. My point is at least both countries would have a common tie as Americans.

I suggest you do some reading about the Rainbow Brigade of WWI. Here the sons and grandsons of Confederate & Union vets came together and formed a heck of a fighting force. Tell me it can't be done.
