There ya' go Miss Pam. We are thinking along the same lines and may I say, the uncompromising pursuit of political power may be just as dangerous and costly today, as it was in 1860.

Let us pray that the country awakens to the dangers that may be facing us today and learns from the disastrous mistakes of the past. Of course, as many of us "preach" here, without the proper and truthful teaching of our history and its replacement with ideological propaganda and social engineering, we WILL repeat our mistakes.
